Hi! I am Brittany, 30, mum to Benedykt, 4; Sylvester, 2; and their baby sister Otylia. We are a British/Polish family living in England.
I started up this company because after being inspired by Maria Montessori, I designed my children some tools and learning resources that I felt would benefit them. I discovered Montessori when my first son, Benedykt was a few months old, as some friends of mine in a mutual Elimination Communication group suggested I would be interested in it. They were totally right! After 18 months of learning about Montessori “on the job”, raising my children, I started to sell my designs in 2019.
I love the Montessori Method because for the most part, it comes naturally to me and I have seen great results with my own children after my husband and I decided to follow Montessori principles more closely. While it is possible to study Montessori professionally, it is absolutely not necessary to do so to incorporate the principles into your family life. And, while it is a lifestyle choice more than just an educational or parenting method, it doesn’t have to be all or nothing. Now I spend all my time, energy and passion educating my three children, alongside designing new innovative products that I use to teach them. I have every hope that your children will enjoy my designs and develop a love of learning that will last them a lifetime. I also write a monthly blog, and regularly update my Instagram account, offering you a window into our family life, to see how we “do” Montessori.
